Ok i just got done installing my new act 2600 and my new tranny and every thing was just fine for the first 10 minutes or so. I was cruising along taking it easy on the clutch to wear it when and i went to slow down and pop was hear followed by a vibration. WE got out and checked it all and nothing is noticable under the car no leaks or anything. I have yet to actually get under it and inspect it all due to the frustration this car has caused me. THe car feels like the clutch is slipping and there is a grinding noise coming from the middle or back of the car somewhere. I think it may be the t case becuz of one reason but i am just wanting some input to see if u guys think so. the reason i think it may be the tcase is becuz we had to force the mother on to the tranny.. I am just seeing what u guys may think is going on. I really need some help and i need to get this car going again.

Have you checked all your fluid levels? The T-Case might very well be the problem, but I would check them all to be safe....

Good Luck! Joe

ok i drove again today and it still feels like the clutch is slipping and i noticed a noise today like something was spinning real quick inside of something else. ????? anywayz so i pulled off the tcase today and took off that little cover on the side ands it cherry on the inside with not a single shaving in it. i turned the front wheels while the car was in the air and the little output shaft spins just fine. so you think maybe it is my clutch slipping or is it something else? also what about that sound i am hearing do you think that could be bad carrier bearings or what else could it be?? anyhelp here is appreciated.

well i had that thought too BUT i found out what it was last night. i am almost 99% sure its the front diff becuz when i spin the right wheel, the wheel on the left side doesnt spin at all so i think its broken. thanx for the help though

well my 99% might have changed a little now. Ok heres the scenario

- i spin the driver side tire and the passenger side tire will move the opposite direction along with it and the output shaft on the tranny for the tcase will move too.
- i spin the passenger side tire and the driver side tire will move alittle if i turn the pass. tire slowly but if i speed up a little the driver side will stop turning but the out put shaft will spin the whole time.

so my question is now, is that normal or am i still correct thinking it may be the front differential?? PLZ HELP ANYONE

another thing i noticed was that the shaft that goes into the tcase moves in and out about a 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch. is that normal also??
