Well after my last class in college i went to my car and well driving home the CEL came on around 33,XXX. Does anyone know what it is? or where i can go to find out what it is besides a Mitsu dealer(they will probably charge way too much)?

I was going off your profile. On a 1G you can pull the codes yourself. All you need is a voltmeter. I use one of those battery/alternator testers with the lights on it. You hook the positive and negative terminals up to the diagnostic port and the number and length of flashes on the meter ,or movement of the needle if you're using a voltmeter, tell you what the code is. These instructions have you using an audio buzzer. You can also use a voltmeter or alternator/battery tester. It just all depends upon your preference. If you use the voltmeter or tester just remember that your counting the lights or the number of times the needle moves and the length of time of the light pulse or needle movement. Doing it this way can cost you between $5-$15 depending on what method you choose.

Here's a site with the instructions:

I hope this helps.
