i have a 98 gst spyder with greddy type s bov and a walbro 255

im venting the bov and the 255 is installed and the car still runs great and idles just perfect

what is up everything i read tells me it should runnshitty

sometimes they run decent, sometimes they run shitty, U got a good one

Venting the BOV will just make the car run real rich in between shifts, usually blowing black smoke out during the shift. You should consider a blow-thru setup with the translator to vent safely.
