So I pick my car up from the window tint shop, and on the way back to work, the radio cuts off. I flip the lights off and it comes back on. Tested and the alternator was going bad. Changed alternator. On the way home from parents house, I am messing around and slam on the brakes going 60 or so, and the car turns off......no power steering, and I was in a curve...WTF....so I get on another straight road and do it again, same shit....RPM's get low and it chugs on them and then total shut down....what the hell is this???

anyone have similar problem or answers ??????

Hey I had the same problem just 15 minutes ago...

I have a 1999 mitsubishi eclipse gs 2GN/T...

I filled up with gas and then when i was heading off i speed up to 50 and light turns red so i had to break hard... then when i was idling my engine starts to choke too... i put it on neutral and stepped on the gas a few times to keep it alive... turned green and rushed home just in case it stalls, it stalls in the drive way... hehe

Anyone have the tech know-how on this problemo?

well, i drove it for an hour or so this morning and it didnt happen...I installed a new battery in this morning also, just in case the alternator wasnt the problem before....hopefully it will stay together, i gotta get to Nopi this weekend.
