Removed charcoal can.. now CEL

I took out the charcoal canister and all the lines which run to and from it, and the lines to the top of the Throttle body, and I plugged the holes for all of them. I still have the EGR in, because I don't have a block plate yet, but now I am getting CELs and the car tries to die at idle...
I have no way of pulling codes, but I am gonna try and do what it says @ vfaq to get them...
