Yesterday I was driving when I noticed that my oil pressure gauge (stock one) quit working. I thad to have quit qorking because my car runs fine and there isn't any problems that I notice. Could that be the problem?

On my 2G the same thing happened, but it was just the plug came off. slid it back on and it works. Comes off every now and then, anyone know how to get this thing to stay on?

Any time that happens, pull over and shut off as soon as possible. No, sooner. Turn the ignition back on without starting, and see if your oil pressure idiot light is working. Then check your oil level. If it's okay, keep a close ear on everything as you get to a place that you (or your mechanic) can do a full diagnosis.

Gauges are like guns. They're only worthwhile if you use them.

providing all else is good I would say that the little connctor fell of the oil pressure sender, ive givin up reattaching it as it always falls off again, if look under your car you will probably see a little black wire hanging down.

Get a aftermarket guage. Thats what i did and its all good now. And it goes good with all the other 5 guages i have. :)
