I just did the 10 gauge rewire mod for the fuel pump. I have a Charged Air Fuel Pressure Regulator on a 1G Fuel Rail. I have never had any problems in the past with fuel pressure adjustment with the regulator. Well after I did the re-wire mod I checked the Fuel pressure and noticed it was about 48 psi, so I was able to lower to 46 psi. But it stays at 46 psi whether the tubing is connected to the regulator or not. I have a 255 lpm Hi-Psi pump. Could my fuel pressure return line back to the fuel tank be to small?

let me know what ya think

If you mean your pressure stays at 46 psi with the vacuum line on or off, then it's possible. I've heard others have problems with the return line being a restriction. Try running the return outlet to a bucket away from the car and see what happens. If your pressure drops and starts varying again with vaccum then it's your return.

Thanks steve,

I'll give that a try, I'm hoping its not the return line. I read this VFAQ on a improvement to the Steve-tek -6AN Fuel Line Upgrade, http://www.roadassociates.com/print.php?sid=6 and they say their is no need to have a larger fuel return line, that the stock one is sufficent enough.

thanks
