Ok heres the scene. Im driving home to my parents and right before i get here i push in my clutch and the pedal sticks all the way to the floor. So i pull over and i can pull the clutch back out but then when i put my foot on it, it goes all the way to the floor again. There is no pressure and i have no control over the clutch nor can i shift. I know i have signs of crankwalk and i just replaced my bearings, but this doesnt seem like it is because of crankwalk. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? I need to get back home tomorrow and i want to know if i should leave my car here or tow it or what. I just want to have a clue as to why the hell my dsm is crapping out on me.
Thanks

ok ive come to the conclusion that either my master or slave cylinder is bad. Im going to go to the store tomorrow and see if they sell any of these. Im out in the middle of nowhere so im sure the local napa probably only carries oil and other small stuff. I was wondering if someone wants to give me a step by step walk through on how to bleed the system. I read it on vfaq but its a little vague for someone who has never messed with the tranny or clutch system before.

Thank you

you might wanna look into a 6 bolt, that is a sure sign of crankwalk as you said, but it may also be the clutch cylinder as you stated above also.

HEHE that is out of left feild bro. His hydralics went out on his clutch and your trying to get him to put in a new engine.

He would get a CEL when the crank sensor is chewed up and a lot fo other symptoms instead of just a limp pedal.

mine was an easy fix. I took out the master cylinder and it was fine. I filled the reservoir back up had a friend pump the clutch and i saw fluid shooting out of the pipe that connects to the slave. I replaced it for 2 dollars.

Cool i got my clutch to work but i think the problem is still there i hope it does not cost me that much to make my car back to normal but i found out my turbo is bad and i gotta get a new one! but its cool well thanks for the help everone

was it the slave cyl? thats what I'm pretty sure it was...slave cylinder brings the pedal back up after pushing it in....dead slave = dead pedal.

Any leak in the hydraulics will make the pedal go dead.

The slave scylinder is the part on the transmission the moves the clutch.

The master cylinder is the part on the pedal that controls the slave cylinder.

Just for refrence my master cylinder went out at 80,000 miles. The previous clutch was a 2600 and now I am using an rps max (2500 PP with stock disk)
