Qualicum Beach,
I have no power whatsoever!! Brand new battery as of today, new alt, all wiring is good and not corroded i checked all of the main fuses (100amp alt etc.) And i still have no power
No interior lights, no alarm, nothing...

I have no idea what is going wrong with this car because it has been running perfect for me until i put it into the garage to change a power steering pressure hose and my alt.

Please help because I am stuck for answers.

yeah everything is grounded. I havent disconnected any of the ground lines and it was starting fine every day for the last two weeks. The only wire that is not connected is a small bronze ended one off my alt that my bro couldnt find a place for, but the car should be able to start without my alt anyways.

Yeah man it sounds like somthing from the batery is not hooked up..follow the wires coming from the battery till you find one that goes no where. The power is not making a complete circle. post back with updates please..

The car starts off of the voltage from your battery. The alternator powers everything once the engine is running..

All the major fuses are good as i checked them all along with the relays, there is one cable near the main fuse box (one with the 100amp alt fuse) that is unplugged so maybe it fell out somehow but i cant seem to find where it goes.... ill take a more intensive look tomorrow in the light and update, thx

Gettin my hands on a volt meter tomorrow hopefully, i think the problem may be the starter or the starter solenoid

alright, im guessing that somehwere around there is where my problem starts, since i have no power to the doors or anything so i cant even start it.

Do you have no power what so ever? As in no dash lights, interior lights etc? If so I had this problem a month or so ago, after I changed out my starter. If everything else(grounds etc.) is good, check your anti-theft fuse, theres one there even if it doesn't have anti-theft alarm on your car. It's in the fusebox under the dash on the drivers side. If this fuse is blown, nothing works at all. If I remember correctly the fuse isn't labeled on the fusebox, you need to look in your owners manual to figure out which one it is. Mine blew like 3 times in a row so i just ended up putting a bigger fuse in there.:shhh:

Alright Rossb, ill check that cause i don't have any power to the dash or anything. Thx

k. Im also getting a manual from a friend today so maybe some of the things i need to check will be in there.

Got a multimeter, checked everything and i had a bad ground on my battery and once that was connected there was another missing ground on the alt. All good now, thx for all the help everyone
