maft problems

I installed a maft on a 95 turbo eclipse and it wont boost over 12. I have everything zeroed out except aux on four i beleive. Anyone know why its not boosting over 12? I have a manuel boost controller and was set for 16 before and boosted to 16 until I installed the maft. The car is mostly stock as far as injectors and all. thanks

What size injectors are you running? Did you do a boost leak test?

stock injectors, 450s and yes I did do a boost leak test and everything checked out okay.

Your base should be set at 2 with 450's. You should also reset your ECU when you do this.

how would you reset the ecu? just disconnect the battery?

Yea, just leave it unplugged for about a minute or two.

boost works good now, the only problem im having now is low idle and then it goes away after some driving

You can also adjust the idle through the MafT. That or the biss screw.
