installed halo aftermarket headliights. stuck on bright.

i installed halo projector headlights that i have bought from ebay. well the problem is that i had to modify the original connectors that went to the stock headlights. well i wired the actual halo ring to my running lights and my low beams to the low beam and the led projector light to the high beam of course but i have a problem. my lights worked fine for a little while and then all that works are my high beam. thats it. my low beam lights dont come on. i had a guy at a local shop tell me that the dsm has a lot of resistance.WTF but i dont know what to do. any help would be appreciated.
