I have the chance to buy a 91 AWD 5 speed talon for $600. The guy says when he ""slams on the gas it trips on itself (possibly computer 50.00 at a junk yard)""...could this be fuel cut or boost cut, something like that? I have yet to go look at the car...300 miles away.. I plan on going in the morning, what should I look for?? Thanks.. I did use search first and found a few good post but not sure this is exactly the same thing or not..

It probably has vacuum leaks, boost leaks and all kinds of small, cheap and time consuming things that need to be fixed. My car did that to a slight extent and it had a big hole in the vac line to the fuel pressure regulator.

I got a n/t that does that if i stomp on it, it chokes it self out but if i roll on it its fine. It does it wether or not its moving or stoped
