I just finished up my stock gsx 1990 engine rebuild, and my first mods after that are 3" turbo back exhaust that its done a boost controler. all i need for it to run is a boost gauge and the battery relocation to the trunk. how to i run the battery cable from the engine bay to the trunk and the boost gauge hose?

To answer your question, I just did a relocation of my battery to the trunk. You will need to drill two holes in your firewall one for the battery cable and one for the mechanical boost guage. Route the battery cable down the passenger side in the under the carpet and in the tray that might be their (I don't know how 1G's are), then under the plastic interior panels, then into the trunk. Any more questions feel free to ask!

thanks dude for the heads up. where in the fire wall should i drill this hole.

I found a nice place on the passenger side of my 2G near where a major wire harness came through but any place that is clear of anything that is on the other side and that is realativly flat and easy to drill. Just look around their are a bunch of nice spots.

To Daveed have you tried to drill the firewall? A 1.25" hole is a bit much to drill!

Kscott: that's a bit of an overkill for a seal!
