my car has recently been getting hot after a few days of driving it. it slowly loses water but i dont know where its losing it to.
i have a Flexalite 12" & autozone 10" fan (pushing air) .
PWR aluminum radiator
new water pump, new radiator cap , & no thermostat
i did a cooling system pressure test, no leaks.
i also did a compression test on the motor, 155psi on all 4 cylinders (4000miles on new motor btw.)
ive noticed sometimes after driving it after shutting it off it spits water out of the overflow tank, which isn't good, its not overfull either.
but why is it doing that ?
the only other thing i can think of is the fans are slowly taking a crap. the turbo is less than 1" away from the 12" fan, it has a heat shield but i dunno if its enough, i wonder if the heat from the turbo is messing up the fans ? i had the manifold & turbo jet hot coated recently. necessary to get a turbo blanket ?
