After searching I cant seem to find an answer to my problem....

On my newly aquired 99 GSX the previous owner decided to cut the sockets for all the bulbs to the taillights out....
Well getting a new line from the little white plug on both sides where the wires go to the taillights is not a problem.....

There seems to be on my car 2 wires that start out right before the plug starts...
1 wire is black (not sure if any markings...) and
1 wire is green with a white stripe.....
I cannot figure out what these go to???? Or if I got a plug what they go to....

Also when I went to the local junk yard I found a 95-96ish model eclipse and cut some plugs out of it
The plug I cut was in the same area where the above listed wires are so I assumed they were the same, here I got 2 plugs both black but with 3 wires coming out of each.

1 black (not sure on markings)
1 green with a white stripe and
1 more green but with 2 dots close together every 3-4 inches....


Anyone who has their car gutted or stripped so they can easily see or anyone familiar with this plese help....maybe you could help me out wiseman steve since you know your electronics very very well...

I believe that the BRAKE light wire (12V) is GREEN/WHITE AND the parking light (12V) wire is also GREEN/WHITE. Best thing you could do is test the wire for voltage when brake pedel is depressed and when the headlight switch is turned to the parking light position to determine which function this wire is intended for. Black is most likely ground but should be tested as well, Grab a multi-meter or a simple test light

Heres the plug for the taillights. (the white plug)

Alrighty, I figured out the wiring in the pictures 1 was for the taillights

Picture 2 was for the turn signals (black and green w/ white strip) and the CD changer that is supposed to be in the back....(I didn't have it in the car when I got it)

I have not figured out picture 3 of the passenger side door.....Does anyone have a clue??? Please don't say it's for the speakers because it's not.....

I have not figured out picture 4 at all, and I dont have any kind of clue....Anyone???

Picture 4 looks like a harness for a turbo timer, maybe there was one installed below the radio (when it existed)

Pic #3 looks like the speaker wires. Oh u say it is not. Well then it looks like a wire to some power door locks. Have you followed the wire to see where it runs to?
