Have you checked your coilpack? 2&3 are on one coil, as are 1&4. Grab a multimeter and check the impedance, your coil may have blown open internally.
Also, did you get the RRE plug-and-play 1G CAS harness adapter, or did you chop up your stock harness to make it work? If the latter, you might want to take a look at your wiring job... might have come loose, if you're certain it's the CAS causing the problem.

Let's clarify; you have a 1G engine in your 2G but you're still using the 2G sensors? You installed the 2G crank sensor on the 1G engine? The crank sensor signal controls the fuel & spark signals for 2&3, IIRC. The 2G CAS signal only triggers the spark for 1 & 4; the 1G CAS produces both signals and eliminates the crank sensor. Besides that, getting the crank signal from the 1G CAS gets that fragile sensor away from the crank nose and being whacked by the trigger plate in the event of a little thrust bearing wear.

I believe your best bet is to use a black-top (hall effect) 1G CAS for both signals; the wiring swap is straightforward and proven.

I did not do the swap I got he car in a trade... but yes it is a 1G motor in a 2G.. with all 2G harness and timming gear...

so is it possible that my crank angle sensor went bad???

I have looked into doing a 1G cas but I don't know where to get one....any help would be greatly apprecaited....

THANKS....

You should be able to find the CAS in the classifieds or on Ebay without any trouble. The following link has the wiring info you'll need to hook it up:

93-94
MD184529
Black lid, Hall Effect Type, Plug Harness

It is the preferred one to use for the swap since the hall effect sensor presents less of a chance of a missed signal triggering a CEL.
