Ok so on my friends 92 Eagle Talon we just installed a new clutch. After this was done we went to start the car only to find that it was running on two cylinders. So we checked and it was getting fuel ok good, but no spark. So we changed the coil, spark plugs and wires only to still have no spark on cylinders 2 and 3. Next we took his ECU apart only to find that one of the black pieces (sorry no idea what they're called) was fried, the third one from the side I think. So we tried my ECU in his car, only to have the exact same thing happen right away. Just wondering what kind of wiring issue would cause the car to fry this black piece in the ECU repeatedly?

Depends on which of the black single inline M5269L drivers you burn up.

One common cause is a shorted ISC coil but since this started after a clutch change, perhaps you pinched a wire.
