After being in boost my CEL light comes on. It usually happens a few seconds after boosting and goes away within a few minutes. My dslink isnt showing any codes for some reason. Anyone know whats causing this? thanks alot.

On your DSMlink or if you have a chip, I know there are people who have had the CEL light as a shift light, but thats pretty far from what you're describing.

If you checked the code and the ECU isnt storing the code then everything should be ok, maybe a sensor or wire is loose as your hitting boost, and when it calms down and settles back into place the CEL goes off?

o2 sensor?

Pretty broad question without a code.

Side note - I havn't seen you in the area. Ever cruise through Monroe? I'm out in woodinville sometimes, friend of mine lives out there and also my cousin. Friend of mine has a white Evo IX with CF hood, and trunk and exhaust good fellow DSMer too.

Pull the code... I get a DTC/CEL every now and then for my ECU engine temp sensor, as the wiring is old and shot, thanks to the previous owner and my inability to buy a new harness, like I'd like to. :b Tempted to just put on a pair of spade connectors, but I don't know if there's any voodoo in the plug itself, or if it's just a moulded plastic piece.

Sometimes DSMLink can have the CEL flash if you reach a certain amount of knock, or timing degrees pulled due to knock. Usually it's set for something like 3-5 degrees pulled. I would take a look at your DSMLink settings, then correlate the logs for knock.

thanks for the advice guys. i know its not knock because its not while boosting its afterwards. i'm hoping its my o2 cause my gas milage sucks. i also think my stock maf ensor is on its way out cause my idle drops if i am rolling. could this be it?

My car does the same thing, in the morning. Full stop it goes into warmup mode and runs at 1K-1500rpm or so. Soon as I take off the e-brake and roll just a bit, drops to 750 and starts bogging (due to an unrelated error on my engine builder's part, which should be fixed soon).
