Ok I recently started having a problem with my car stalling. The car idles fine right about 750-800 rpm. No wandering or anything like that. The problem only seems to occur when I push the clutch in. It doesn't matter if I'm driving or just sitting in the driveway with the car in neutral. The idle drops down to 400 rpm or so and will stall out, which of course makes it kinda difficult to start the car. I think it might be the ISC, but I'm unsure why it would only do it when I push the clutch in. I don't have any CEL's or any other problems that I know about. I think it might be related to the ISC because I think mine's on the way out. If I reset the ECU the rpm's kinda wanders around a little bit and it stalls more often when I push the clutch in when I'm driving. After a while though it kinda goes away though once the ECU learns what is going on. It did this both with my 7 bolt and my new rebuilt 6 bolt I just put in (the stalling when I reset the ECU). Does this make sense to anyone? I'm just looking for some ideas on things to check out.

It is very possible that it is the isc. You actually wont get a cel from a bad isc either. The only way to check is with a multimeter or something like that. If you want I can get you directions on how to check it.

Thanx for the info. It just doesn't make any sense to me why this problem only occurs when I push the clutch in whether I'm driving or not.

Any one else have any ideas? I'm just looking for suggestions here to see what other people think. So even if you agree say so. I was hoping I could get at least a few different people's ideas on what the problem could be.
