Hey guys, so as the title says, i have a weird scraping noise coming from the front drivers side of my car. It sounds like there is a piece of metal dragging on the ground as i drive. It constantly makes the noise and its bin getting louder the past few days. I figured maybe brake pads or something but i checked them and they seem ok. Also i didnt really know if pads would make a scraping noise like that. It does it all the time, braking, accelerating, cruising, taking corners, and its getting pretty annoying. Anyone have any ideas of what it could be? Thanks in advance, Kyle

Brake pads do make a scraping noise especially during braking, and if your windows are open and going slow enough you can still hear it. You might want to check out the pads, rotors, and the guard aound the tire on the drivers side. Also if the pads are worn, while braking it sounds like metal is grinding.

i have checked the pads and they are fine. if they guard you are talking about is the metal one around the rotor, that is fine it isnt rubbing anywhere. The rotors dont look warped or anything. Is ther anything else it could be. Wheel bearing maybe?
