I have the stock 90 gauge cluster in my 90 Laser. When I bought it, it never worked. Tried a 91-94 cluster, didn't work.

So, my question is this. Can I take the wire from the stock tach, and run it straight over to the RPM signal wire going into the ECU?

If I can do this, it would eliminate the need to worry about 90 91 to 94 crap.

Only a 90' tach will work in a 90' I know that. I dont think there are many 90's out there with working tachs anyway.

No I haven't. I didn't know there was a fuse just for the tach. The rest of the gauges work on the stock cluster, except the tach.

if you have a aftermarket tach when you take the cluster out on the left plug i think its like 3 pins up from the bottom but dont hold me to it its been a while but its a plain white wire that is the tach lead thats how i wired my tach then you just need power ground and lights and you should be good to go
