Can you guys please tell me how to get this back together? Please look at the pics and tell me if I'm missing any parts. Where does the wave spring go?

I'm still trying to figure out how this tranny is stuck in gear. Or how to get it out of gear, whichever.

The wave spring is supposed to go on the center notch in the cover that you pulled off to get to the 5th and reverse gear. It helps to push the gear back to a neutral position. One thing you need to make sure of is that the 3 lock pins that are put into the main gear that is shown in the pictures are in the correct way. if they are not, your transmission will get stuck in either 5th or reverse. I had to order some new ones on mine since they were worn really bad on one side causing the wave spring to become torn up.

Hey, quick noob question while on topic...is that 5th gear syncro also supposed to be put in a certain way, or can it be put back in in any position?

Somebody told me this a few weeks ago when I had to fix mine after the nut came loose. I tried it every way possible and it looks identical no matter what.
