I just installed my H11 HID kit. It was very easy to install and both worked when tested individually. After install, only right side was working. Anyone run into this before??

Alright, here's the dilema. I bought a plug and play HID kit from E-BAY. Upon install, the kit only had one good ballast (or so I though). The left side worked and right side didnt- so I plugged in the right ballast into the left housing and still not working- Great, must be the ballast. I got another ballast and again, still inop on the right side. Tried the right side ballast in the left housing and it still inop. Got the second replacement ballast for the right side and ran new ground wires for both headlight housings thinking that was the problem. Installed ballasts and POP. Oops, I assumed that black wire on the housing was ground but it is green. Cool fixed that- my bad. Got the third ballast for the right side and again, right side inop, left side working. Put the Left ballast in right housing and not working. Unplugged left headlight from cars harness all together and magically the right side now works but with the still only known good ballast. WTF is going on?? I know now I need a new ballast for the fourth time but any help to figure out why this thing keeps eating ballast would be great.
