95 tsi awd started fine, ran for a mintue then died

Hey guys, So I got in my 95 talon tsi AWD with 6 bolt swap, started her up. I started driving then like minute later a heard a poping noise(like a backfire), puff of black smoke then she died.

Now it will only crank and will SOMETIMES Backfire, but wil never start. When we tried to start it, it will smell like fuel.

Some things it could possibly be? the plugs and wires are new. Is this electrical? Because any symptom I can find is a firing problem.... Dead coil pack maybe? Any thoughts would be helpfull.

Ahhh yes. Dont try starting it again...and check your belt tension and positions.

No way its timing i did it and my timing jobs dont skip.
