Resolved 1G Nonturbo ECU in a turbo?

I was told that a 1990 nonturbo ecu will work in my 1990 gst. Is that true?

Thank you dude but it was pointed out that my ecu has a non turbo serial no. on it. My car is definitely a turbo from the fact and by vin#....so what gives??

Previous owner may have replaced the ecu and ordered a nonturbo ecu instead of a turbo one, probably not knowing any better.

orr.. the serial number is on the cover right? soo it could be just a non turbo ecu cover. not the actual ecu.

Your GST would have come with either a federal MD128625 or a california MD128623. What has it got?
