my future wife just bought a car without me there, and it wont move, since she got it home. its a 93 eclipse automatic. while driving it home from the buy here pay here, as-is lot..the rpms jumped from about 2 grand to about 4500 up and down and you were unable to give it gas, it would just roll to a stop. wouldnt start back up a and move in any direction, forward or backwards, i can shift throught the gears, i can hear them shift, had a friend watch from the outside and the tranny shifts..but you cant feel anything, and car wont move. i bought another tranny off a running car, paid a guy to put it in..and it drove home fine..no problems..about 4 hours went by, got in it to pick the old lady up from work, and nothing..same problem.!....so i went and bought another tcm or pcm after reading about that it may be the problem...and still nothing, now it seems like it kinda wants to go forward in reverse posistion..but nothing else in any other drive selections.
no noises, no leaks...just wont move...i even jacked it off the ground. the whole front end..started it, put it in gear and both tires spin, in all gears...put it back down on the ground and..nothing...so far i replaced tranny, replaced tcm...and im broke with a broken car? any help?
i did the search, and found some things that fixed other problems, or just one. But i did the same and nothing helped, and the tranny from under the hood shifts in it proper gears, but car will not move, only wants to try and move forward while in the reverse gear..and why would it drive while in the air, but not on the ground?
and i do appologize for the grammer, im full of grease and getting yelled at as i type...for the car, and the grease all over the pc.

did u try replacing the tork converter u know that controls the trany fluid pres. and that rund the hole auto trany

keep us posted

I would replace the torque converter as mentioned above,as that is basically your clutch.reason the wheels turned when you jacked it up and didnt move when on the ground is there was no weight or resistance on the tranny.
