Is there a fix for CEL code P1104?

Its the turbocharger wastegate solenoid code, it keeps coming on and I keep resetting every day or two. What can I do to fix the problem. I'm running a MBC....
Does anyone know?

Is your BCS still hooked up to the plug? Sure, you can bypass the BCS all together, but you still have to keep it plugged in... thats where the code comes from.

This is true. The same thing happend to me. When you hooked your new boosr controller up, you either forgot to cap off one of the lines of the solenoid or you just forgot to lpug it in. Im my case it was plugged back in but the wires were all gooed up. So the solenoid itself actually slipped right off the wires and I lost it somewhere on the road. I reccomend electrical taping it up just to be safe. Caue i now have to either buy a new solinoid or just live with the CEL dummy light. Hope that helps.

I believe you can replace the BCS with a power resistor matching the resistance of the BCS coil to get rid of the CEL also. Check your FSM for the correct resistance and apply ohms law to find the power requirement for the resistor.

did anyone ever figure out if you could use a resistor. I really don't want to buy a new bcs just to turn a light off. I have a mbc so i only need it to pass inspection.

I've since learned that the ECU is looking for a inductive spike when it turns the solenoid off to sense that it's there. I don't think a resistor will do the trick.
