so i leave work the other day and the car starts missing really bad on the way home. mostly under load but a little at idle. i get home and find out 1 of the cylinders isn't firing at all. i replaced the plugs and started it up and it ran beautifully. as soon as i hit the gas though it started missing again. not as bad as before but pretty bad. ran great at idle. so i replaced the wires and everything seemed to be fine again. no more missing. it ran better than when i bought it. so now yesterday after work i come home and park it and everything is fine. i go out about 45 mins. later and i can't get the car to start. it fires up, sputters for few seconds then just dies. it doesn't even sputter out and stall it just instantly shuts off like i just turned the car off. it does this to me about 15 times in a row. then on the 16th time it fires right up and runs great again. run my errands and the car runs fine, starts right up and everything. so i drove it this morning and again fine. i parked it around 9 am and i went back out around 3 pm and got the same no start situation as before. i'm so confused. pulled the plugs and they're wet. definitely getting fuel. reset the ecu, checked my new wires to make sure no loose connections. Any suggestions anyone. this is also my daily driver so i'm really in a bind right now. any help is greatly appreciated.

also i forgot. i pulled the ecu and opened it up and it looked fine. no visible capacitor leaking. tried swapping it with another ecu i had lying around and it wouldn't start at all. switched it back and same problem as before.

Well i checked the coil and it seems ok. It doesn't seem like cylinders 2 and 3 are getting spark. swapped coil packs and still just 2 and 3 not firing. If i can get it to run long enough for the cel to turn off it comes back on and the car immediately shuts down. I tried to check for codes but not sure if i'm doing it right. Tried to search for the proper method to retrieve the codes but can't seem to find it. I'm starting to think this might be an ecu problem. Although i did check and there is no capacitors leaking and no clicking coming from the dash area (except the 1 click after turning the key off.) Any other ideas anyone???

i read the post about retrieving the codes but it doesn't say what pins to attach to. The connector has about 6 pins in it and i don't know which pins to connect?????
