I just got my head back today from the machine shop. It had a valve job done. Before I took the head in and I did a leakdown test it leaked alot from the exhaust ports, hence the valve job. The valves are not bent and I pulled the cams to ensure that the valves were shut. Yet at around 60psi they still leak a little. WTF So my question from all this is should the valves form a perfect seal?

Are you sure the valves are what is leaking? If those valves were not lapped correctly then they would leak, but how old are your rings?

 60psi on a leakdown test, isn't that alright? And I am positive it is the valves that are leaking because I had the exhaust manifold off and could put my hand right on the exhaust port. After I posted I did find some crap in there from the hot tanking (little bits of carbon and such). I cleaned the valve and the seats of any of that. I have had people tell me they can leak a little since it is a metal to metal seal but I would like to get some more opinions.
