just wondering when is block fill needed ? ?

i found my turbo setup and have everything reayd to order.

full race gt3567r turbocharger (700whp setup)

now when i down tune it for the street i know itll be good for weekend driving but when i take it to max boost will i need the block fill or will i be good ?

i need help, couldnt find anything on block fill on this site.

Inline-4 blocks aren't all whippy like thinwall V-8s, and the crank isn't trying to twist them the same way. There's some discussion about cementing blocks around here somewhere, but I can't find it.
I can't see a street engine living with it.

I didn't want to be the first to reply on this cause well, 'what do I know'. :)

But anyways, I'd say block fill at the point where I'm no longer going to be diriving the car on the street. That would be the FIRST part of my decision. How much HP/Torque/PSI/what turbo are you going to be running? I see what you have now, and I don't think you'd need it as long as you tune your car well.

Block fill is only used on drag cars where they fill the cooling holes in the block to give the block strength when bored out to a large diameter, you won't have any cooling system when doing this but drag cars don't need it as they are running for a short period of time street cars however would only run for a few minutes before siezeing the engine.

If you make it to 700hp, you still don't need block fill.

Filling the coolant passages is for cars converted to Methanol. Meth burns at like -300 degrees so coolant in not nessisary. Neither is an intercooler.

Your not running meth so its all good.
