i was wonderin if a bad battery that will stay charged for a day and go dead or hard start cause hesitation.all spark plug wires and plugs are new and gapped, coils are good and transistor aslo cleaned maf with brake clean, please help!

Regardless if a battery goes dead after charging all day, needs to be replaced. With all that you stated that was replaced, perhaps its time you consider a possible problem with your fuel delievery?

Once the car starts, the alternator takes over majority of the electrical load. A bad battery would cause a hard start but probably not hesitation in acceleration.

ok.i have not changed the fuel filter and have been running it to empty, due to personal disability reasons.hopefully that will change and or fix problem and thanks,
by the way what would be the best way to relieve psi prior to fuel fiter removal?

To relieve fuel pressure you can unscrew the fuel filler cap, disconnect the fuel pump electrical switch (under the back seat) and start the car to run it dry on whatever's left in the lines. I never do this, even when changing injector seals and it doesn't seem to spill a great deal, but your mileage may vary.

Good luck!

While typically inclined to agree in all cases, I no longer can. About half a year ago my cars battery went bad and wouldn't start unless jumped. The car wouldnt stay on no matter what until i changed the battery, the rpms would just shoot to zero anytime i wasnt in gear. When the new one went in, the car was fine.

Ha ha, i thought i would get flamed if i told the community of dsmtuners that i just let the fuel pressure relieve itself from whatever part i was taking off. But since your a wiseman you wont get flamed, now i can back it up and not get flamed as well.:thumb:

To Be Exact As To What The Car Does-if I Drive My Car Everyday.car Starts Fine, but If Left For Longer Than 1 Day It Cranks Slow And Depending If It Was Hot Or Cold Day Out.i Know Alternator Takes Over But Being That These Darn Cars Are Such Sensitive I Thought Maybe The Battery Being Not Fully Up To Par Would Have Affect On The Driveabilty On Electrical Side To Things.

sorry dont know how that went on.no answer to my question?i thought this forum is for learning and passing on knowledge.

Denji,

I'm not saying that what I do is right, but for the small amount of gas that comes out it's no big deal. A few drops on the garage floor doesn't bother me, but for safety reasons I don't want others to think it's the rght thing to do for them. It's just faster.

Have a great one,

Andy

I had a similiar situation, it wouldnt stay on during idle, but i had alot of draw from gauges that are wired to glow with the key on and an amp running with key on too. Although it died during idle i had no problem acceleration wise.
