Ok, the motor was rebuilt about 23k ago, and had a compression check done about 10k ago which came out at 160 across. However lately, the car seems to be having trouble starting. It takes like 5-10 seconds of cranking to start. If I crank it for a few seconds, then stop and try again, it always starts up. The car has never not started, it just takes a little work. I haven't noticed anything different performance wise, and my logger hasnt read anything different either. The car will also start right up if it has been running and I just shut it off as well. Any ideas?

Sounds like the fuel pump may not be getting the lines full of fuel that quickly. Especially since you said it starts fine after being driven recently. The fuel lines may still have fuel pressure in them.

I'm running an Aermotive AFPR and a walbro 255 pump. My FPR seems to have gasoline residue on it...could that mean just a bad o-ring?
