Turn signal blinks too fast - but hazard blinks normal

I have done a pretty major job on lights on my car, including mounting turn signals on the side of the car etc.

The result is that i now have separated all turn signals from any other functions (brake, park).

Everything works fine except one thing: They blink too fast! And the strange thing: They blink normal if i use "hazard"!

Does anyone know how i could fix that? I guess normally it would be possible to connect a resistor somewhere (i'm no electrician), but that would probably mess up the hazards blinking also?

check your blinker fluid. j/k. Usually your turn signals flash fast when one of them is burnt out. Check and make sure all lights are working.

Mine was only rapidly blinking sometimes, and i couldn't figure it out, id go to check out my lights and they all seemed working. evnentually i cought one when it wasn't, ended up havening to pull the bottom contact point in the lights socket, out ever so slighty, to give it a better/constant connection. did you check the fuse? what kind of lights/how did you hook up?
definitely check for burnt bulbs/bad conections

Thanks for your replies. But how do you explain that they work fine if i turn hazards on? The hazards lights are the exact same lights that blinks when i use turn signal (except turn signal is only one side at a time...).

And btw: All bulbs lights fine, so the bulb is not burned.

I'm 100% sure that this is just a result of how we have set up the new lighting. Note that it's exactly like on BOTH sides - and as mentioned was working fine before we modded the lights.

First i thought it was happening because earlier there was two in each tail light that blinked, and now it's only one. But that should be solved by connecting an extra bulb, but it isnt... :(

Edit: I added a picture to let you see how the lights are configured.

When i put on left/right turn signal: The 3 lights at left/right blinks FAST.
When i put on hazard: All 6 lights blinks in NORMAL speed.

I think the hazzard lights use a different fuse and relay in the flasher unit. did you check fuses? Did you check all of your connections?

Are some of the lights conventional bulbs, and some LEDs? My bike does the same thing now that it has LEDs on the rear only. I just live with it though.
