PROBLEMS WITH NEW EVOlll TURBO AND INTAKE

Just bought the tsi 2 months ago and when i got it, it had a bad inlet compresser wheel. Its likes a nut or washer or something went through the intake and busted it all up. I took off the front mount and found all the blades from the compresser wheel in there along with some pieces of rubber. Figuring all that out i bought a new evolll 16g turbo and a dejon tool intake. I put everything on but now the new dejon intake wont go on, it wont clear the wastegate acuator, its the right size for a 16g but somehow wont go on, i even unbolted the acuator and then put the intake on but the the acuator wont go back on. My last problem is that the rubber hoseing that goes from the intake nipple to the bov wont go back on either. The hose will sorta fit but makes a bad kink so i know thats not the right way. Any info and help would be greatly appreciated. Tsi has been off the streets for 1 1/2 months now just because these little minor problems. Im still learning about the dsm's so sorry for the inproper questions if i asked any. Thanks a lot guys

I would say put the stock intake back on for now and start driving it. You can always change the intake later.

Well the hoseing from the bov that goes to the intake wont go back on, it wont fit in any way. Also when i put the stock intake back on it doesnt clear the hood. I also dont want the stock intake on beacause of the rubber i found in the intercooler, somehow something got past the filter and intake and messed my turbo up.

I contacted dejonpowerhouse and they said its the right pipe. Is there any other good intake i might be able to buy that will clear my hood and bolt up to the turbo? Also what do i do about the hoseing? Because i want my air to recirculate. thanks alot for the replys

Bend the fitting on the actuator a little, slowly and carefully, worked for me years ago.

I had to take a little off of the WGA bracket to get the my intake tube on. I just ground about 1/4" off the inner side and wala it fit.

i have a non turbo 92 talon i put on an air intake on after doin so my car started to burn alot of oil & runin ruff i do about 67 miles on a full tank of gas. what can this be any1?

sounds like you need to post in a "correct" thread... and maybe a little more detail as to what you installed and what you replaced!
