Question about my boost settings, Help asap. Sorry kinda stupid.

Ok. got a 90 tsi awd. Mods: Gutted cat, hacked maf, K&n, turbo xs high performance bc. the car is very fast for what it is. theres 90k on the block and about 200 miles on the head. boost spikes to around 16.5 and settles to just a hair below 15. should it be spiking at 15 and settling from there, or is how i have it set fine. i havent had any problems, no fuel cut no problems at all. no detonation that i know of at all. thats all i have done, and i realize its not at a track, but i wipe the floor with several 13 second cars, including a second gen with a lot done to it, and srt-4 with stage 2 upgade, a wrx with a shitload done to it and my crx with a b16, civic type R cams vafc exhaust that does run a mid 13. the car is just fast for what ive got done and dont know why. And im not talking from a launch, were goin from like 20-60mph rolls. were pretty sure its running a high 13 as it sits, on 15 psi, and ive been told thats not really possible with what ive done. ultimatly im just curious as to what i should be running with my setup. any insight would be helpful, thanks

15psi is totally possible for what you have done. I would get a logger next to watch knock and timing, that way you can see what a safe boost setting will be. The rest just sounds like bragging. Take it to a track, prove your times.

ya i know. thats why im not sayin im runnin 13's, but the car feels like it and my crx does run 13's, and the talon is faster than my crx. i just wanna know if what im feeling is possible? and ive been to two driving schools, so i do know how to drive. it just feels fast for what ive got.

I am not sure what exactly your wanting us to tell you? WOW! running only that and beating all those cars!!?? Ummm so exactly what DSMcamaro said, go log it and improve and learn about your car yourself.. how are we supposed to know what your car should be running? Your boost is whatever you set it to be...so lets avoid you looking 'stupid'

ok, what im askin...ive been told not to go over 15psi, so does that mean it should spike at 15 and settle to 14 or so, or can it spike to 16 and settle at 15?
