Injector Trouble Still. ECU?

Well no matter what I do I still cant fix my injector problem

So if I let my car sit for a couple of hours it will run perfect. But if I try to start it up again after that it will run on 3 cylinders. While the car is running bad I throw code 41 which is the injectors.If I pull out my #3 spark plug it makes no difference on how the car runs. So in order to get it to run good again I have to wait roughly 3-4 hours. When it runs good it wont throw this code. I have already:

replaced the injectors
replaced my spark plugs & wires
replaced my #3 injector harness


I dont really know what to do. I have heard about replacing the injector resistor pack but would this be my problem if it was only part of the time? The only other thing I could think of is the ecu? Would I have these kinds of problems if it was that? Im about ready to call a shop and have them work on the car, Im just desperate. -Thanks

You may have a component (eg. ECU, coil, power transistor) that fails with temperature or the old vapor lock problem. You can search the forum for these.

You might use an oscilloscope to pattern the pattern of each injector. Check for pulse width modulation at idle and during accelleration, or revving the engine. Listen to each injector with a mechanic's stethescope. Does the "bad" one sound different?

Using a injector pulser, check the pressure drop on each injector while manually pulsing each injector. This will check the flow rate or pressure drop. This is for comparison.

If these all pass, then I would look at the pcm as the possible problem or a bad connection. This can be checked with a ohm meter and schematic.
