fuel pump

i bought a 255 fp tonite and all that it came with was the pump and the little filter on the bottom of the pump. i have a 90 tsi awd and i was wondering since i dont have the whole kit that ide get if i got it from anywebsite, what do i need to do this. is there anyway to wire it in and whatnot. any help is appreciated.

I don't remember a "Kit" with mine, it should just bolt. It's been a while since I did mine but it was very easy. You should be able to find a write up of some sort on vfaq.com. Good luck!

You shouldn't need a kit; those are just a gimmick to make more money. The electrical connectors should directly connect without any problems, and anything it didn't come with you can source from your stock pump.

what im saying is that the walbro pump that i got has a plug on the top of it for the power and i dont think thats what the stock one is like. maybe im wrong. like i said, all i have is the pump and the little filter on the bottom of it. i think i may need more.

I think it's a pretty universal plug. I got mine from a different platform altogether and it was a direct fit.
