ignition removal help

hey guys how do i remove the ignition from my 90 awd talon. i dont have the key and i already read the writeup on the tech articles. the only thing that i have left to do is pull out the ignition once you press in the small pin.

i pushed it in and pulled the ignition but it didnt budge. i tried for a while but thought that we might need the key in the accessory position.

since i dont have the key because its a parts car. what do i need to do??

is the pin pushed in all the way?

Yes, the key needs to be in "ACC" for the pin to work. But if you don't have the key.... what good is the ign switch?
Ever done any lockpicking?

never done any lock picking and.............i dont know what i could do in this case.
any ideas other than that???????????

and i need the ignition swtch so i can go have a locksmith make a key..

Pull a door lock and have the locksmith make a key to fit it, then use it to pull the ign switch. I think your car's too old to be able to have a dealer cut a key from the VIN.

it didnt work man. i had the key made from the locksmith. and the key didnt work in the ignition. i dont want to have them come over becasue theyre gonna charge me a lot of money to have the key made here from scratch
what else should i do.
