I have searched around and taken my car to a few dealers for what they think of course they say nothing wrong just the sound of the intake you put on. The car is a 95 gsx automatic. It has only a injen intake and extreme 2.5 cat back. Above 4k rpm i get a vibe, can be felt in the gas pedal and it sound like the valve traon but listening around it sounds like its in the belts. I have also noticed at high rpm the acc belts mainly the one that runs power steering looks like its gonna jump close to redline. Next problem is boost i have a a autometer gauge that is reading 21psi peak dropping off to about 13-16 in most cases my problem there is i have no boost controller and i have a stock t25. I did do a run with a friend just to see if i lost any power he has a bone stock 97 talon awd auto and he gets me by about 3-4 cars every time so im 100% sure i have lost power. I have changed the plugs ran them for about 250 miles them checked them and they were black like im dumping fuel. I get about 140-150 on a tank. Does any have any insight or can point me in the right direction as to where to look? Thanks, Mike
 
You should NOT be running 21 psi on the stock T-25. If you have no boost controller you should be running 12ish unless you have a boost leak or a vac line off. @ 21psi that turbos a FLAME THROWER:nono: Does this feeling your talking about only happen under boost?

No, if in park or netural i will get the vibe through the gas pedal and the belts jumping around. If i cruise around town the car feels normal and responsive. Once i get on it the car just falls flat on its face. I know the temps from a t25 trying to push that kinda boost has got to be insane.
 
I went out and let it run for a while. It holds about 16 in vac at a 700 rpm idle. I used a infared therm to measure some temps after spool i get about 202 on the turbo inlet housing. The upper manifold reads 602 and the o2 housing is about 503. I have noticed that my o2 housing heat sheild is Missing and one of my fans have melted blades along with the fan wiring. How ever the fan did kick on. I did find a vac line off on the intake i connected it and nothing seems to have changed. It also sounds like the blow off valve is leaking it is a 1g valve. It makes a gurgle noise at idle. I did also notice a exaust leak right at the cat flange. That may be causing the sound at high rpm? Looks like i got some work to do now. I still dont see where all this boost is comming from though. The cat is still oem maybe its clogged? The car had 95k miles
