Well I'm making progress!!!

My problem was: High Idle (After Cranking it, would rev up to 5000rpm)
Car: 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS (5speed)
Engine: 420a DOHC

What I've done.

+Changed Oil
(Penzoil Synthetic)(Fram Oil Filter)
+New Spark Plugs
+New Battery
+New Altenator Belt
+Replaced Fuel Filter
(which BTW!!! The Fuel Filter was on the DRIVER side, behind/below the Washer Fluid Container!!!!!!) For all those who said it was on the passenger side...LoL
+Gave her Fuel Injection Cleaner in the Fuel Tank.

-STILL NEED TO DO...
...I just remember...it needs Throttle Body Gasket...so it's sucking air there...
We cranked it...totally suffocating the throttle...and if its revving...then its getting air from somewhere, or fuel from somewhere...thats the basic diagnosis.

So the missing throttlebody gasket would suck a little bit of air...but not enough to rev to 5000rpm.

So I started doing so nose diving in my chiltons book...we messed with a few sensors/valves.

CONCULSION!!!

when we took the MAP SENSOR off...it didnt Idle HIGH no more!!! it would putter at low RPMS....did I just figure it out???????

Muahahahaha...so I'm going to go to a local junk yard to find a car with my 420a DOHC engine, I know it doesnt have an 2g Eclipse...so cant I look in a neon or chrysler???

Anyways...we called up a Shop...and they said If we replace that...it should purr like a kitten...my hopes arent up on that...I still got some other minor problems...

I dont think the Idle Speed Adjustment Screw is off...because I loosened the Accerlator Cable Bracket all together.

now get this...when im looking at the Vaccuum Lines in my Book...

Theres a line that goes from Fuel Pressure Regular to a this one 3-piece part in the back on the intake manifold...its on the far left. The left "prong" goes to the FPR, and the right "prong" goes to the EGR/Transducer.
HERE IT IS...the Middle Prong...goes to the Vehicle Speed control reservoir/vehicle speed control servo.
on my car...that vaccuum line, doesnt have anything...no line...just a rubber ending someone stuck on it...but when you take it off and crank it...it sucks air...so it has to be sucking from something...BUT WHERE!!!!...i have no clue where the "Vehicle Speed Control Reservoir/Vehicle Speed Control Servo. IS?????

Same thing...theres is a lil prong on the throttle body...closest to the block...on the top...its all plugged off...no line, doesnt lead anywhere...but in my book, looks like it leads to EVAP emission ventilation solenoid.

This might be while my TEST CODE P0412 came back as...Pulsed Secondary Air Injection Solenoid Circuit (M/T).

I'll take pictures...with my "sh-tty" Camera Phone.
I bought a Cheapo Digital Camcorder/Camera off ebay...3.1 MegaPixel...should be here on the 11th..(2 weeks from the 12/28)...anyways...I bought it so I can take better pictures and upload it.

Also for XMAS, I got a car port, with sides, zip up doors, 2 tool cabinets, flourescent lights, halogen lamp posts/lights, new jack, jackstands, paint spray gun kit, air brush kit, crafts man 190pc mechanic tool kit set...so I'm set...

When i was pushing the car from one side of the yard to into the car port, the sh-tty bodykit caught a rock and ripped completely off...well the front bumper...so hehe...a new bumper is to be ordered...I think I'm going to go with Sensai Front Bumper, and get new Blitz Rear, and either Drift or Blitz Side Skirts. I'm going to RE-PAINT the entire car black.

Okay I'm going to go take pictures...and head out to a junk yard...Thanks for reading...all opinions are accepted...Happy Holidays...:D

About the Pulsed Secondary Air Injection Solenoid....I took a picture of mine on my 95 Talon.

Here it is....

Here is a closer view of it....

When i used to have my stock headers on, the open end of the valve was connected to a tube that connect to the stock downpipe. It must have been an emissions thing and I have only seen these on 95 n/t DSM's. When I installed my new OBX headers, I left the whole valve assembly plugged it except for the part that used to go to the downpipe. So now if the valve ever opens, all it is doing is sucking in a little bit of clean air. As long as you leave the sensor plugged into it, it will not trip the code.

I have heard that the whole pulse air system was actually recalled so if yours was removed a while ago, maybe it wasn't removed properly. I will try and help you more as soon as you get some pictures put up.

As for the middle prong on your intake manifold, I will check it another day when it is not raining outside because the vacuum line that is hooked up to mine goes down near the bottom of the engine but I could not see exactly where it goes without getting under the car.

Well turns out my camera phone is looking alot better...my girlfriend noticed the lense was pretty dirty...so we cleaned it, and pictures are turning out to look alot better!

So here as some pictures that I took...

Ok, so I checked out the lines you are talking about. Here's the line from the TB....

Here's where it goes....

The larger of the two rusty metal pipes that are going through the hole is the one that is connected to the TB port. My Haynes manual says that this is the purge air hose.

The middle prong on thats one the intake manifold goes to a black plastic canister under the intake manifold which I believe is the charcoal canister for emissions purposes.

i dont understand what im looking at in the second picture...for the throttle body vaccuum line mystery.
