Ok my idle jumps up down sometimes it stalls. Ok i did boost leak test and i fix some small problems. My VAC reads 17-18 which is good. Still does it. I redid my power wire , still does it. Ok so i went snooping even more. I found that if i adjust this screw by turning the nut and pulling the cable then i can get it to a decent idle BUT after a few pulls and such the idle gets out of wack and i have to adjust it again and again to keep it at 700-800. What could be causing this ?

Picture shows nut i am adjusting. Also , that little thingy (tech term) under the gas petal broke so the petal can go to the floor would this have caused this ???

It looks like you are adjusting the throttle cable.
You need to adjust the idle by grounding the ecu and timing or you are just confusing the ecu.
You need to ground pin 10 in the obd2 connector and the plug on the firewall. Read the vfaq for exactly where the plug on the firewall is.
