it my car will not idle below 2000 rpms the only way to get it to idle is to take the afc and and on 1k -25 and on 2k -35 and it will kinda idle at 1000 rpms but then it bolgs and dies if you try to drive it like that i have changed the isc, and messed with the bliss i have a buschur/sx bolt on afpr set at 42 psi, i just can get it to idle i am just out of ideas so anything will help

thanks

Definitely check the throttle cable, if that doesn't do the trick your FIAV may be acting up. Had similar issues when I first bought my DSM; it would never idle below 1600 RPM even with no vacuum leaks and the BISS bottomed out. Blocked off the FIAV and now I have complete control over my idle again.

IAC is the Idle Air Control valve and the FIAV is the Fast Idle Air Valve (helps for cold starts). When the FIAV fails, the little wax pellet that is supposed to seal the extra air passage doesn't completely block it, which keeps the engine at a higher idle RPM even after it's warmed up. Very common issue, especially for DSMs that are 15 years old or over. :D

Yeah, check out the throttle cable first to make sure it's not adjusted too tight, if that's not the culprit check out the IAC, the stealth was having problems the same way and the IAC was out of adjustment, let us know when you get it figured out. Good luck
