I tested the compression on my first gen the other day and i was very dissapointed.. all 4 cylinders were at 120 which i believe would mean my rings are bad right? if my car had this low of compression would my car still have lots of power? because im running 15 lbs with a few mods on it and it seems pretty strong.

120 isn't alot but it still should still have lots of power.. You might want to start saving money and rebuild your motor. :thumb:
Service limit is 121.

805eclipse : When ever I see same low numbers across all fours, first thing I suggest is always to double check testing procedures and retest with a known working tester. Are you blowing smoke out of the exhaust? Was the car fully warmed up with full throttle applied during the test?

There is no smoke coming out the exhaust at idle or under regular driving conditions but when i floor it in first i see some smoke behind me sometimes. and i have done the wet test and the numbers jumped alot i think they were up close to 200. i will retest with another compression tester and let you know how it goes.. thanks.
