This is on my 95 RS horn makes a clicking nosie when i hit it, its not a regular fuse,it's like an extension cord end w/ the 3 things? do i just get one from dealer?autozone,is it costly?
thanks

It's not a fuse, it's a relay. Check that the horn wire is connected before replacing
the relay. I've never seen one go bad.

Also, check the actual fuse. It is either inside the little box by your left foot under
the dash or under the hood. Can't remember which. That would be the most likely
offender

There are two fuses, one under the dash, and one in the engine area. I had the same problem where it would make a clicking noise. The problem is the horn itself, i just went to the junkyard and got a replacement. Now it works fine :thumb:

took it off, little rusty huh? and when i shake it i hear shit moving around, its probaly shot has 126k

I think the horn on my wreck is still good. If so I'll give it to you for free, just pick up the shipping and its yours.

Turbos only have one horn (intercooler in the way), N/Ts have paired horns.

Do not use "u" for "you". :nono:

i need a horn for my 95 RS not 99 GSX turbo ones won't work.

Not true, at least not for the 1G. My 1G TSI has 2 horns, beneath the headlights (2 horns). i dont think it was a "turbo" - "intercooler" thing. (May be on the 2G cars though)

can anyone with a 95-99 NON turbo take a pic of where the horn connects to,its been like 5 months and i went to put the new one in ,i plugged it in but dont see where the screw goes

thanks

Finally replaced my horn today and it's easier than i thought--first check the fuses and the relay,--if that still doesn't work, remove the horn and the connecter it has on it--then cut the connecter and splice the wires--the black wire is the ground and the other wire which on my car was green with a white stripe is the positive--add some female connecters to the factory wires and then connect them to the new horn from autozone and mount back up to the original location--try the horn beforeyou mount and it should work fine--good luck with your horns
