Hey,

Last week I blew my clutch.... I took it to a transmission specialist and had it fixed.... I just got it back today and noticed theres a vibration when Im idling/at a stopsign/ starting it up...

when i start it up it takes a few seconds before it starts vibrating.... once i start moving it goes away.....

I took it back to the place i had it done and they said wait on it for a few days and see if it goes away....

Is this wise or should i tell them to look at it now???

I figure its a carbon build up or something (at least i hope) so i might wait the few days...

but just in case, What else could it be??? (oh yea i checked all the vacuum hoses and theyre all in/tight)

(this is my third week of having this car, if anything else goes wrong im giving up on life )

dammit I'm having the same problem!! I parked the car for 8 months cause of it!! please post what it was once you find it! I'm gonna try to start working on mine before winter hits.

Define vibrating. Could it be a miss at idle? A mechanical imbalance should vibrate all the time and depending on what it is should really hit a sweet spot. "harmonic" at a certain rpm. which means it gets worse at certain rpms. Does it buzz the mirrors? If it goes away when you take off I would rule out imbalance. I assume, I hate that word as it gets me into trouble every time, that it did not "vibrate" before the clutch change? At which rpm is it the worst? Only idle? The only other thing that could come to mind was could the clutch or pressure plate have been damaged during reinstall? Not likely as these are very easy transmissions to r&r. Well, except for the AWD but that's another story. I hope this helps Old Mitsu Tech
