Just finished injectors, dsmlink, evoiii, and fuel pump yesterday. Problem is (one of many right now, is that aroud 210 degrees, it starts pouring out smoke, not billowing out or anything, but definitely visible, even from inside the car if the wind is right. It's not pure white, but kinda. It smells like burning oil, not like coolant. It didn't do this before the evoiii isntall. It was a brand new turbo and install kit purchased from extremepsi as well. Any help is appreciated as the car is having a bunch of issues now.

Ok well I was driving around all day with this smoke happening. So I got to a friend's house and went inside. When I came back there was coolant all over the place. I found the leak and it WAS the coolant feed to the turbo. So, I fixed that, bandclamped it down instead, and tested it again. Once it got to around 210, right when the fan kicks in, it started pouring out with the white smoke. The only other thing I can think of is the gasket for the oil return is leaking on the oil pan, I gotta fix that tommorrow, but I dont see how that would affect it. Thanks for the quick response!

I'd say get underthere with a decent UV kit. Start with the obvious and work your way deeper into the engine.

Run a compression test. White smoke means coolant is burning.

OK so I wake up this morning and guess what, coolant all over the place again. The water feed line has kinked and is leaking again. So, my question is, how am I supposed to run that hose? It's extremely difficult to get onto the metal line because it's rubbing up against another line that's going vertical right next to it. Can I bend that metal line? It's coming off the top side of the turbo.

When I had a wet housing, I went crazy with it. It'll hold up fine. Bend it as much as you need to.
