Please Help1 tranny trouble after engine swap

Please Help
I just had an engine swap in sons 1993 eagle talon. Prior to the engine swap transmission was ok. It changed hard at times but no other problems. On the way home from the shop car gets stuck in low gear. Any suggestions

sounds like its entering limp mode (what the tranny goes into under a fault in the tranny). id check all electrical sensors and wiring and go from there. if not that, have the tcu checked or have the fault codes extracted from the tcu and see what the problem is.
