O.K. Here is deal. I built a motor for my gs-t and put it in and everything is good but it has a rough idle. Checked for vacuume leaks didn't find any. So i disassembled the timimg belt because I thought it might be 1 tooth off. The question is are all the marks suposed to line up all the way across or just the middle. I know the middle is supposed to line up with the top of the head it just seems like it is either a hair to high or one tooth more is a hair to low. Also does anyone have a pic or diagram of the vacuume hoses on the back of the intake for the EGR and such. Thanks for the help. stressing out.

When the cam dowel pins are up, only the inner two marks will line up. Exhaust cam will be at 3:00 and Intake cam at 9:00. Make sure that your crank and oil pump line up as well, and make sure that the rear balance shaft is in phase through the hole in the back of the block.
