I installed a 2.5" upper and lower intercooler pipe aswell as a 2G elbow, and I have this mad lag maybe 3 seconds then it boosts hard. Is this normal??? I am using a small 16G instead of the big16G to compensate for the spool time. and the intercooler I"m using is off of a STARION ESIR. I'd appreciate all the help I can get.

check for boost leaks. A small 16g or a big16g both have awesome spooling characteristics. What rpm's are you seeing boost? Full boost by what rpm? Whats your vacuum at?

I checked for leaks and there didn't seem to be any, as for vaccuum I'm reading 16inHG

and it starts boosting at 3K and is at full boost around 6500 rpm

check for boost leaks. Your turbo to manifold gasket may have broke. As well as your head to exhaust manifold. My cousin just put on his To4b V-Trim and it spooled late all the time well. We figured out that his turbo to exhaust manifold gasket split in half and one of his studs in his head was stripped so exhaust was leaking out over by the timing belt. Check to see if your studs are stripped and if all the nuts are TIGHT. Then make sure your turbo bolts are nice and tight. I looked the other day after my T25 was spooling at 3.5k and two of my bolts were loose, allowing exhaust gases to escape. Recap

1.Check turbo to manifold bolts for tight fit.
2.Check turbo to manifold gasket for cracks or breakage.
3.Check studs to see if any are stripped.
4.Tighten all exhaust manifolds nuts.
5.Perform another boost leak test.

Hope that helps.
