what am i doing wrong ? Palm tranfer

My palm (M130) will NOT transfer files to save its life! !! I tried turning on so i can view all system files etc done. After i transfer files i go into my F:\Program Files\palmOne\NEW\Backup and there is no files that where on my palm with the same name ???? I cant figure this out . Anything i am missing ?
